Create some coziness that will last a lifetime, with this dreamy yarn. Our custom blend dk yarn (in creamy white, and heathered gray) is 60% merino and 40% romney. This ratio brings out the best in both fibers, producing a yarn that is incredibly soft AND has a beautiful drape. Each hand-made hank is 266.5 yards, 2 ply. $17.50 per hank.
A note about dyeing the white blend: the merino fibers tend to absorb dye to a sightly darker degree than the romney fibers. This produces a beautiful, ever-so-slightly "heathered" effect in the yarn. Juli found this to be the case when dyeing this blend with indigo, and cochineal. Highly recommended!
